CF Band T-shirt Family Orders

We learned today (9/4) that Craft-Cochran is waiting for some of the CFHS Band apparel items to arrive, so we will not have these items this week. Sorry this is the case, but it is a situation beyond our control. When we receive these items and distribute them to the students, I will make an email announcement about it.

CFHS Band Lessons

The CFHS Band wind players all have a memory/playing test due this week. Most students have completed these at their lessons, but a few have not. It might be worth checking with your kids to see if they have completed this task.

Friday, September 5 - Tiger Marching Band Schedule & Details

Please note that this is a required performance for Band members.

6:00 PM Band members meet at the CFHS Band Room. Band members should park in the CFHS faculty lot west of the building. Band members wear summer uniform (black shorts & red band t-shirt) underneath their full uniform. Don't forget long black socks and band cap.
Following half-time we will return uniforms and equipment to the band room. Students are then free to sit with friends or leave after half-time. Our traffic flow for leaving after halftime goes through the Tiger Performance Center which is under construction. We need four to six parent volunteers to monitor this area for several minutes after halftime. Please reply if you would help with this.

The precise time when we perform cannot be predicted with 100% accuracy, but here is what we can tell you regarding the game schedule.

The sophomore/JV game starts at 4:30 PM. 10 minute quarters, and 10 minute halftime.
At the conclusion of the sophomore/JV game, 30 minutes go on the clock.
After the 30 minute clock runs down, the team leaves the field and 15 minutes go on the clock. When the clock hits 10:00, CFHS Band goes on the field for the varsity pregame show. We anticipate this will be sometime around 6:50 to 7:05, but it all depends on how the sophomore game times out.
